The Sunday SHITSHOW - Episode 15
In Episode 15 of The Sunday SHITSHOW, Stu and Geltchy are back on the couch with an exciting guest: up-and-coming Sunshine Coast grommet Ky Clements! Ky has just earned a spot to represent Queensland at the Australian Junior Surfing Titles, set to take place in Wollongong, NSW, from November 24 to December 1, 2024. This is a big step in his surfing journey, but with competitive surfing comes a heavy financial load. While sponsors may slap a sticker on a board or hand out some merch, the costs of competition—entry fees, travel, accommodation—often fall on the athletes and their families.

But Ky isn’t alone in his journey. In this episode, LIFE STRIFE, founded by Stu and Emma, is joining forces with Support Ya Mates, donating $200 toward Ky’s campaign. Yaroomba Boardriders chipped in with a $500 donation from their latest fundraiser, and BOARD CARRY added $100. Every bit helps Ky chase his surfing dreams, but there's more to be done!
