The track chronicles vocalist Tim's regular pilgrimages from the Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast to record at guitarist Darren's home studio - affectionately described as a "sweaty, cramped dungeon." What began as a practical necessity evolved into weekend ritual and creative sanctuary, with Tim using his car as a mobile writing studio during these drives.

The song itself, which had been sitting in the band's vault waiting for the perfect vocal treatment, represents what the band considers their benchmark sound.
